President’s Message

It is with much enthusiasm and excitement that I welcome you to the Phi Phi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s website. Since our chapter’s chartering on February 16, 2001, Phi Phi Omega has grown from 30 women to now over 175 active members. Our membership is comprised of many accomplished women who exemplify the characteristics of sisterhood and service embodied by Alpha Kappa Alpha’s illustrious founders 110 years ago. In 2018, the chapter continues to perpetuate the ideals of our great organization.

Phi Phi Omega has a proud heritage of 17 years of service. Through our signature event, the Strands of Elegance Cotillion, we’ve awarded more than $300,000 in college scholarships to deserving high school students during this time.

Phi Phi Omega also continues to provide community service in North Fulton in the key areas of: Education, Health, Family Strengthening, Environmental Ownership and Global Impact under “Launching New Dimensions of Service,” Alpha Kappa Alpha’s international community service targets.

This website provides noteworthy information that highlights the significance of Phi Phi Omega Chapter, including our rich history, community service and many activities. Please feel free to browse the public event section for open activities that you may wish to attend. Also, please check out our social media platforms for upcoming events and recaps. We greatly value and appreciate your support in helping us to make a profound impact in the community that we serve. Our organization is anchored in service and sisterhood.

Again, thank you so much for visiting our website and for your interest in the Phi Phi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. We hope that you visit our site frequently to see the many great things that we’re doing to provide service to all mankind.
